Manuscripts based on presentations at the conference that fall within the scope of the journal will be considered for publication in a special issue of Fluid Phase Equilibria. M. Cismondi and L. Cardozo will be the guest editors.
Fluid Phase Equilibria publishes high-quality papers dealing with experimental, theoretical, and applied research related to equilibrium and transport properties of fluids, solids, and interfaces. Measurements are to be associated with systems and conditions of fundamental or applied interest, and may not be only a collection of routine data, such as physical property or solubility measurements at limited pressures and temperatures close to ambient, or surfactant studies focussed strictly on micellisation or micelle structure.
Submissions will be peer reviewed in the same manner as all other articles and must adhere to the Elsevier copyright and ethics rules.
The submission will open on October 1st and will close December 15th. The special issue papers will be published as a virtual special issue, and so they will be published as they are accepted, avoiding any one manuscript having to wait for all of the SI papers to be completed before publication. The special issue will be featured on the Fluid Phase Equilibria website once all the papers are processed and each paper will be marked as being part of the special issue.
